Barbara Ann Catlett

Kill Devil Hills – Barbara Ann Catlett, 91 died June 25, 2014 in Nags Head.  Originally from Columbiana, Ohio, Barbara was predeceased by her parents Ralph and  Agnes Donnelly.  She was the widow of Mr. Edward Lewis Catlett.

 Mrs. Catlett worked as a medical secretary and homemaker in her adult years in Salem, Ohio.  After relocating to Kill Devil Hills, she enjoyed attending St. Andrews Church and was an avid reader even as she battled visual impairments.

She is survived by four children; Mrs. Patricia Ann Cavanaugh (Michael) of Avon, Ohio, Mrs. Kathleen Ann Mellott (Edward) of Washingtonville, Ohio, Mr. Michael R. Hutton (Terri) of Salem, Ohio; and Ms. Marianne Catlett Lane of Kill Devil Hills, NC.  Also surviving are two grandchildren, Mrs. Stephanie Lane Nuepert and Mr. Travis Steven Lane, both of Norfolk, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the First Flight Lions Club of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. No services are planned at this time.
