Andy joined the Marines in 1977 and was later stationed in Virginia. He was offered a job in the apprentice program for welding at NNSY. He graduated from the program in 1984 and retired in 2015. He proceeded to share his knowledge as a Welder Instructor at QED.

Andy made it a priority that his family was rooted in faith and truth. He was also an avid boater who enjoyed quality time with his family and friends. As a family man, he enjoyed his grandchildren, who lovingly knew him as “Grandpy”.

Condolences and and the family, prayers, love and support.
So many wonderful memories of Andy & the 4 of us together! We are holding each of those in our thoughts & will always cherish the time we had together. You all created a beautiful family & we are keeping all of you in our thoughts & prayers. 🙏
Heartbroken with you! From the first time I met Andy at our small group, I was impressed by his open heart, integrity, humor and love for his family. I’ll never forget hearing about him taking communion to shut ins from church after he had been ill for an extended time and missed having communion. Instead of complaining about it, he took action and started serving communion to people who couldn’t get to church. I didn’t know him as well as other people who are grieving the loss of his generous life, but that memory of him reflects who Andy Palko was and he may be gone, but we won’t ever be able to forget Andy Palko!
So very sorry for your loss💔May God surround all of you with his love when he welcomes Andy into the gates of heaven❤️
My Dear Tanya , My heartfelt thoughts and prayers care with you and your family. What an amazing husband and happy you had a wonderful life together. Love, Doris and Courtney Padgett

May you all find peace during this time of healing, and know that my family and I are always here, sending you love.

He was a wonderful man
Was saddened to hear about Andy's passing. Andy and I played football together from 6th Grade through high school in our hometown of Streator, IL. Andy was a good friend and a great teammate. He came from a great family, was a tough kid and possessed a tremendous work ethic. Although I haven't seen Andy in many years, I carry fond memories of our time growing up together. Rest in peace my friend. GTR
Tanya and family, You all continue to be in our thoughts and especially our prayers. Hope it helps in some small way to know that countless prayer warriors are supporting you as Andy’s passing is mourned and his life celebrated. In His love, Tom and Fay Brantley
Our deepest heartfelt Condonlences during this difficult time for all of you. I pray God continues to give you strength as he guides you through day by day. Love-Rhonda, Eddie, Austin
I am sending my deepest condolences to Andy's wife, children, brothers & sisters and all the grandchildren. My heart goes out to all of you. I played football with Andy in high school. Andy was a joy to be around and always played at the top of his game. He was one of the 3 captains on our undefeated team in 1976 - a true leader on the field and off. Not surprising that Andy went on to serve his country in the US Marine Corp. I have remembrances of seeing him for the first and now last time at one of our high school reunions in Streator, IL. God Bless you all. Our Lord took one of the great ones way to early. Peace & Love - Bill Donelson
So very sorry to hear of the passing of Andy. Our back yards were joined and we played together when we were very little. Comfort in knowing he found God. Prayers to the family.
I was heartbroken to hear of Andy's passing. What a Godly man he was! Even as a young man, Andy's faith in God shined all around him. I'm positive he heard those words, "Well done my good and faithful servant". My heart and prayers goes out to Tayna, Meagan, Drew and their families as they grieve the loss of Husband, Father and grandfather. May God comfort you and give you peace until you are all reunited in Heaven.
