William Randall West, Jr.

Manteo – William Randall West, Jr. or “Randy” as he was best known, passed away unexpectedly in Manteo, March 25, 2019.  Randy was 48. Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sanford and Barbara Willis and grandmother Sonia West.

Born and raised in Portsmouth, VA and was a lifelong fisherman and a successful sheetrock contractor in the family sheetrock business.  Randy’s spare time was always spent with his family that he cherished.

Randy is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Valerie; daughter, Courtney West; twin sons, Taylor West and Tyler West all of Manteo; granddaughter, Avery Harrell of Manteo; his parents, Butch and Freida West of Manteo; brother Jason West (Connie) of Nags Head; nephew, Caleb Epps and his family of Manteo; his nieces, Casie Epps and her family, and Alexis West and her family; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held 2:30pm, Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the Gallop Memorial Chapel in Nags Head. Pastor Robert Flowers will officiate.
