Stanley Ray Young
Stanley Ray Young, 66, of Grandy, NC passed away on May 28, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, three brothers and two sisters. Stan loved family gatherings and cookouts and had a nickname for just about everyone in the family. He also was a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan.
Stan is survived by his stepfather, Thomas Henderson of Grandy, NC; and his siblings, Jessie Paradis (Bob) of Kennebunk, ME, Chuck Barber, Jr. (Sarah) of Virginia Beach, VA, Karen Ellsworth (Michael) of Wells, ME, and Marilyn Henderson and Carolyn Jett both of Grandy, NC. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Laurel Memorial Gardens in Poplar Branch, NC. Please leave a message of comfort at gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
