I met Myles over a year ago as we crossed paths during our course of work. We quickly attached to each other and I looked forward to our daily meet up and talks on the road. Myles always greeted me with that million dollar smile and when we would part ways he would always tap his wrist and say "let's get it done". Friday was no exception, he was light hearted and smiling. I wish I would have known it would be our last meet up, the last wrist tap followed by "let's get it done". I would have told Myle's how much I respected his hustle at work and how much his friendship meant to me. I would have tried to make that encounter last so much longer. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his loved ones. I know a great void has been left behind. I am grateful to have know him and feel my life was made brighter because of it.

Myles was the best person to have around on a rainy day, as he was the life of the party and full of humor sunlight. He’ll be missed by many and I’ll always be someone I’ll remember from when we dated in middle til being very close up until a couple years ago. I’ll miss you dearly. I love you and your momma!

The absolutely kindest soul, with the warmest smile. We will certainly miss seeing your bright face and happy spirit in our Starbucks in the mornings. Thank you, Myles, for always showing so much kindness to us. I know Jesse is certainly going to miss talking “old cars” with you. 🫶🏽

My sincerest condolences for the entire family. I met Myles a year ago when I started working for Bay Disposal. He was quiet at first but once we both opened up we always had hilarious conversations when he had time to stop and come over to talk with me. I would tell everyone at the job that he was my work boyfriend. He just didn't know it. Once someone like Myles becomes a fixture in your life and you're used to seeing them everyday it's going to be hard not seeing him. I'm definitely going to miss his smile, enthusiasm and our jokes. Such a beautiful soul gone wayyyy too soon.

It has been some time since I last spoke to Myles, but I considered him a friend when we were in school together before going to different high schools. He was very kind, and I am extremely saddened to hear about his passing. My deepest condolences and best wishes.

After work and even before work, we would talk and chill for a bit. Even while talking to him for a couple weeks and getting to know him, he was a down to earth guy. You never know what one person is going through behind their smile.

This is so hard on me and so many others we all miss you Myles. Since the day I met you you were just outstanding, helpful and nice and just being around you always brings a smile to everyone’s face you will be greatly missed by so many.

My deepest condolences to the family for the loss of Myles. I coached Myles in football at Currituck County High School. He was one of the most genuine, caring, and pleasant young men I have ever been around and I know for a fact that he was universally loved by his teammates, classmates, and coaches alike. Myles, you were a ray of sunshine and will be sorely missed.

I hadn't talked to Myles in quite some time due to our different interests in school and having split to different schools after middle but it doesn't change any of the memories we had. We grew up in Wedgewood together like many of his friends. We were a family whether we talked or not having met back at age 3, I will always remember him and sorry to see him gone.
