Willie Martin Wood

Kill Devil Hills- Willie Martin Wood (Bill) went to be with the Lord Tuesday evening November 13, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Charlotte Wood; four children; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers and their wives; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special brother-in-law, Ray Alls.

Bill was a special, thoughtful man He was a kind and giving person much to his own detriment. Counted upon for laughter and good sit down talks, he will be greatly missed. Because of his love for animals, the family requests that in lieu of flowers to please make donations in his name to Outer Banks SPCA, Manteo, NC 27954.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a future date. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
