Robert Edward Ward

Manns Harbor- Robert Edward “Dippy” Ward, of Manns Harbor, NC died peacefully October 29, 2014 in Greenville, NC.  Dippy was born September 7, 1966.  He was predeceased by his father, Robert Washington Ward, and his mother Nellie Lee Ward.

Dippy enjoyed his employment with Manteo Furniture, Whitecap Linen, The Dunes, Grits Grill, and Sun Services.  He also loved helping many individuals on the side.

Robert Dippy Ward is survived by his aunt Betty Crain; his uncle, William Crain; his uncle, John Crain (Rhonda); his uncle, Lawrence Crain (Joyce); cousins, Misty and Willie Crain, Trisha and Tabitha Long, and Donna Hill and Daphane Collier.

The memorial service will be held Sunday November 2, 2014 at 4 pm at Faith Baptist Church in Manteo. Pastor Jerald Craddock will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, the family is gratefully accepting donations towards final expenses c/o Gallop Funeral Services, Inc.
