James “Jimbo” Knight

Colington – Jim passed away peacefully at home early morning Sunday September 7, 2014.  He was 61 years young.  Jim moved to the Outer Banks in 1988 and worked for Kitty Hawk Carpets. He is survived by his wife Gladys; sons Ryan and Matthew; two sisters; and his father all of New York.

He was predeceased by his mother, Helen Knight who was taken by the same cancer he fought so hard this past year. God Bless you Jim, we love you.

The family’s plans for a beach memorial are pending. Donations in Jim’s honor would be welcomed  at the American Cancer Society.
