Julie F. Hamilton

Kitty Hawk, NC – Julie F. Hamilton, 74, peacefully passed away at home on June 7, 2013.

Born in Charlottesville, Virginia, and a graduate of James Madison and University of Virginia, she settled in Northern Virginia as a school teacher and high-school guidance counselor. She was predeceased by her husband, C. Eugene Hamilton. She will be remembered for helping the community and her church (All Saints Episcopal Church) and her devotion to family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Christopher and wife Gina, Jameson and wife Inna, and grandchildren, Braxton, Ryan, Zachary, Brooke, Lauren, and Alexis.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Sunday, June 16, 2013 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 40 Pintail Trail, Southern Shores, NC 27949. Afterwards, the family will receive guests at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to All Saints Episcopal Church (Kitty Hawk, NC) -Julie’s Garden would be an appropriate and appreciated way to celebrate her love of the out of doors.
