William Irvin Dean

William Irvin Dean, or “Bill” as he was known by some friends and co-workers, 60, of Old Trap, passed away Wednesday, February 06, 2013 at Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City.  William was born in Elizabeth City and he was the son of Mary Nell Dean and the late Irvin Elliot Dean.  Other survivors include his brothers Heywood Dean, Keith Dean and wife Donna; a niece and nephew; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members and friends.

Many thanks to his special aunts, cousins and friends that helped him throughout the past year.

No services are planned at this time.  In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully suggests that memorial donations be made to Duke Heart Center, c/o Blue Dean – 512 S. Mangum St. Suite 400, Durham, NC  27701.
