Harry James Branscome

Jarvisburg – Harry James Branscome, 87, died October 10, 2014 at Kindred Nursing Home.  Mr. Branscome was a native of Danville, Virginia and was a resident of Jarvisburg, North Carolina for 30 years.

Mr. Branscome served in the United States Army and Navy and retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Station where he served as a pattern maker.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Helen Louise Branscome; his daughter Sandra McCay of Virginia Beach, VA; his step-daughter, Shirley Brown (Donald) of Southern Shores, NC; one brother, Teddy Branscome of Portsmouth, VA; one grandson; and 2 great-grandchildren of Weeksville, NC.
