David R. Ritenour

Kill Devil Hills – David R. Ritenour, 69, of Kill Devil Hills died unexpectedly on October 16, 2014.

Dave was a native of Stephens City, Virginia and resided in the Outer Banks for the past 12 years. He served 35 years in the National Park Service and retired as the Chief of Maintenance, White House Liaison Division, in Washington, D.C.  Dave is survived by his wife of 29 years, Karen, and four daughters, Patti, Tami, Sara, and Emily, four grandchildren, and a large extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave’s name may be made to the Outer Banks Relief Foundation.

Friends may call at the Gallop Funeral Services Chapel, MP 16 in Nags Head, Sunday, October 19th from 3 PM to 5 PM.  The funeral and internment will take place in Virginia.
