Anne Phelps Newbern

Nags Head – Anne Phelps Newbern passed away February 22, 2016. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Sarah Phelps and her brother, Bill Phelps.  She was a native of Windsor, NC born on October 23, 1942.  Anne was retired from Dare County Schools.

Surviving Anne Newbern are her brother, Fred Phelps, and her loving children:  Elton Lee (Annette) Newbern of Oxford, NC and Nan Newbern (David) Loud of Annapolis, MD; three grandchildren John Noah Newbern, Seth Lee Newbern and Sarah Anne Loud.

The visitation will be held Friday, February 26, 2016 from 2-4 at Gallop Funeral Services in Nags Head, NC.  Burial will be held in private at a later time.
