Peggy A. Ellis

Grandy- It is with great sadness that the family of Peggy A. Ellis, announces her passing after her fight with cancer, on Tuesday June 12, 2018. A resident of Grandy, NC, Peggy was 63. All who knew Peggy knew she loved Nascar and watching the Baltimore Orioles play. She was an Eastern Shore girl who loved the ocean and enjoying steamed crabs. Peggy was adored and loved by all who knew her.

Peggy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Allen Ellis of Jarvisburg, NC. ; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Joseph Wall of Jarvisburg, NC; daughters Kimberly and Brittany Ellis of Grandy, NC; son Steven Ellis of Grandy, NC ; step- daughter, Heather Johnson of Worton, MD; step-son Michael Ellis of Grandy, NC; sisters Evelyn Wheeler of Harker Heights, TX and Phyllis Duncan of Centreville, MD; brother, William Boblit of Belvedere, NC; one Grandson, Robert Wall of Jarvisburg, NC; As well as numerous other relatives and friends. Peggy’s wishes were for cremation with no other services at this time. A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held at a later date.

The family offers special thanks to the staff of Peak Resources of Nags Head NC who cared for and loved Peggy in her last 7 months of life. Donations toward funeral expenses are gratefully welcomed to Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. in Peggy Ellis’s name.
