Sandra K. Rocknak
On December 3, 2025, Sandra K. Rocknak passed at home, of natural causes at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Rocknak, Jr. Her survivors include two children Wendy Rocknak, and Charles J. Rocknak, III and her sister, Nancylee K. Lenker. Sandra’s preference for cremation is being honored and there are no memorial plans finalized at this time. In lieu of flowers, the Rocknak family would be grateful to direct memorial gifts to Beach Food Pantry and/or the Outer Banks Relief Foundation. Dear Wendy and family, You know how this breaks my heart. 25 years of having Sandra in my life as a patient and a friend has given me so many wonderful memories. Her light heart, generous spirit and sense of humor have always lifted me up. Now, lifted into the arms of Our Lord, she is whole, safe and happy. My sincerest condolences to you. I know I shall miss her always.
Wendy & Charles, our hearts are grieving for you as you go through this season of loss. Her body may be gone but her spirit will continue to be with us. Our community was so fortunate to have Sandy as a longtime member of our guild, former secretary, and a light in our life with her beautiful knitting, felting, embroidery and all around great spirit. What a joy she was. She will be missed.
