Alfonso Vasquez, 69, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026 with his love, Pam Hamm; and sister Jeanne by his side. Pam will carry out their plan to celebrate his 69th birthday. All are invited to honor, remember and celebrate his amazing life by gathering at Shipwrecks Taphouse & Grill on Friday, July 3rd around 2pm for a casual gathering to share stories, jokes, hugs and maybe a few tears.

I'm so sorry to hear about Al's passing. My thoughts are with his family. Fly high you crazy dude!

Will and I will so miss the kind, fun, thoughtful person you were. You always had a smile and time for us when we saw you for the day to day. Difficult in any boatyard. So you know, Al and his crew worked along side us to completely fiberglass the sides and bottom of the Sinbad in the dead of winter. We were our own crew! Thank you. Still fun. Our sincere sympathies to his entire family.
