Tahun Lavelle Jenkins

Tahun Lavelle Jenkins died September 14, 2008 in Charlotte.  Tahun was the son of Lavelle Jenkins, Sr. and wife Cynthia of Manteo, and Davetta Jenkins of Atlanta, Georgia.  He was born August 5, 1976 in Chicago, IL and became saved at an early age.

Left to cherish the memories of Tahun is his fiancé, Sheconda Audrey and their son, Kameron Jenkins, Tahun’s three children of his marriage with Danita Jenkins; Kevin Jenkins, Tahun Jenkins, Jr., and Madaysha Jenkins; his paternal grandmother, Anna Jenkins of Chicago and his maternal grandmother Juanita Hodges of Chicago; sisters and brothers: Stephenie Young (Edu) of Suffolk, VA, Lavelle Jenkins, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Alex March, Andrew Jenkins, Evelyn Jenkins, and Samuel Jenkins all of Manteo, NC. eight nieces and nephews, a host of cousins, aunts, and uncles, and dear friends.

The funeral and committal will be held at noon on Tuesday September 23, 2008 at Free Grace Church of Christ Disciples of Christ Church in Manteo. Pastor Carrie G. Holmes will officiate and Reverend James McNair, Sr. will be the eulogist.
