Peter “Grumpy” Tymul, Jr.
In the early hours of April 18, 2026, Peter Tymul, Jr., 70, went on to ride in the Forever Chapter with his Renegade Brothers. He was born September 7, 1955 to the late Peter and Anne Tymul. Pete is survived by his granddaughter, Amber; his son, Anthony; and his loving wife, of nearly 50 years and ‘ole lady’, Rita, whom he married on July 6, 1978.
For most of his life he worked out on the road driving 18-wheelers, but his real passion was his motorcycles. That passion led Grumpy to the RENEGADES Motorcycle Club, where in 1991, he would earn his patch and place as a Brother in RMC. Pete would spend the next 20 years representing his Brothers and club with honor, respect, strength, loyalty, and love.
He arranged many fundraisers and organized countless charity rides for the people, especially the children of his community who needed it the most. Grumpy was a respected and widely loved Brother. As a Renegade, he would become a member of multiple chapters and ultimately help found and become a Charter Member of the Currituck, NC Chapter where he served his Brothers as President until he retired in 2010. Even though he retired his love remained apparent as he kept in regular contact with his Brothers and managed to spend time with them as often as he was able. Grumpy will be missed by his Nation, but shall forever be honored by them and remembered for all time by his Renegade Brothers.
Rest in Peace, Grumpy. GBNF RFFR ILMB.
Grumpy’s Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on May 2, 2026 at RMC’s Virginia Beach Chapter’s clubhouse. Please share expressions of sympathy with the family at gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services was entrusted with arrangements.
