Patricia J. Gallek

Southern Shores – Patricia J. Gallek, 64 of Southern Shores, NC (formerly of Oakmont, PA), died in Chesapeake, on Wednesday, March 16, 2016.  She was born April 19, 1951 in Latrobe, PA, daughter of the late John J. and Betty J. Harr Gallek.

She is survived by her loving brothers Stanley J. and his wife Debra of Saltsburg, PA and Larry J. of Southern Shores; five nieces and nephews, Matthew, Craig, Nathan, Jessica and Pamela; and six grand nephews, Nicholas, Lucas, Gabriel, Zachariah, Gabriel and Caleb.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh/School of Physical Therapy, Patty was dedicated to helping others.  Her career included caring for patients at St. Vincent Hospital (Erie PA), Harmarville Rehabilitation (Harmarville PA) and most recently at Coastal Rehabilitation in Southern Shores.

Should friends desire, memorial remembrances may be made in Patty’s name to a charity of their choice.  The memorial service will be held at the Gallop Funeral Services chapel MP 16 in Nags Head Saturday April 2, 2016 at 11 am.
