Nathan Chips
Colington- Nathan Chips died unexpectedly February 14, 2009 while visiting relatives in Durham. Nathan was the beloved son of Allen and Dee Chips of Colington. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio June 18, 1989.
In addition to his parents, Nathan is survived by one sister, Alana Czypinski of Radford, Virginia, his paternal grandfather, Stanley Chips of Parkersburg, West Virginia; his maternal grandparents James and Betty Grugin of Ripley, West Virginia; two uncles John Chips and wife Mary Beth of Butler, PA; Dan Chips and wife Pamela of Knoxville, TN; four aunts Susan Hall and husband of Newburg, IN; Mary Henkels and husband Robert of Bethel Park, PA; Jana Sheldon and husband Tom of Dubuque, Iowa, and Sandy Grugin of Ripley, West Virginia; 17 cousins, and a host of extended family members, and dear friends.
A visitation will be held Friday February 20, 2009 from 7 O’clock to 9 O’clock in the evening at the Gallop Funeral Services Chapel at MP 16 in Nags Head. A funeral mass will be held at 1 O’clock in the afternoon at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Nags Head Saturday February 21, 2009. Father Edward Fitzpatrick will preside. Interment will follow immediately after the mass.
