Nancy Loring Stover

Nancy Loring Stover 71, died Tuesday April 8, 2008 in Nags Head.  She was born April 30, 1936  in South Weymouth, Massachusetts.  Nancy was the daughter of the late Frederick W. and Florence Loring Decker and the devoted wife of the late William Elliot Stover, Jr.

For many years, Nancy enjoyed lobster fishing in the local waterways with her husband in Cohasset, Massachusetts where the couple raised their four children.  Besides being a loving wife and mother, Nancy also worked in several retail stores in Cohasset and attended Beechwood Congregational Church.   Recently, Nancy decided to live closer to family and relocated to her son’s Nags Head residence.

Left to rejoice in the memories of Nancy Stover are her two sons Douglas Stover and daughter-in-law Joan of the Nags Head residence, William Stover of Bucksfield, ME; two daughters Cindy Snell and Carol Gargiulo both of Marshfield, MA; three granddaughters Jennifer Stover, April Stover, and Katie Gargiulo; three grandsons Andrew Stover, Jeremy Stover, and Damien Stover; and many extended family members and dear friends.

A family memorial service will take place in Cohasset, MA in the near future. In lieu of flowers memorial tributes may be made to the American Liver Foundation at www.liverfoundation.org/donate.
