Miriam Louise Norris

Nags Head-   Miriam Louise Norris, born November 5, 1919, widower of Raymond L. Norris, died February 12, 2008 in Nags Head. She was the daughter of the late Pierce Douglas Lever and Grace Florence Davis Lever.

Mrs. Norris was born in Alexandria, Virginia where she and her husband resided most of their lives.  She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed gardening and spending time at the family home in Charlottesville, Virginia. Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by her son Raymond Donald Norris who passed away in September of 1998.

Surviving Miriam L. Norris is her devoted daughter in law Doreen Norris of Kill Devil Hills; four grandchildren, Mike Norris, Julie Norris, and Lee Stuckert also of North Carolina, and Clinton Norris of Virginia.  Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are pending and being coordinated in Virginia by Teague Funeral Service of Charlottesville. Burial will be at Gentry’s Cemetery in Dyke, Virginia.
