Meredith Trenton Crow
Kitty Hawk- Meredith Trenton Crow or “Trenton” as he was known by family and friends, 85, of Kitty Hawk passed away on January 2 at Outer Banks Hospital in Nags Head. Surviving is his wife of 48 years Tanya Tillett Crow; two daughters, Lynn Cole and husband Jack of Towson, MD, Cindy Beacham-Price and husband Billy of Powells Point, NC; two sons, David Crow and wife Patty of McLean, VA, Stephen Crow and wife Cindy of Maple Valley, WA; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, and host of extended family members, colleagues, and dear friends.
Trenton served his country bravely in the United States Navy during WWII. Following his military service, Trenton built a long an successful career in Federal Services in Washington, DC. Besides being a professional engineer, Trenton was employed in several federal agencies including the TreasuryDepartment, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and the USDA. He was most proud of the time he spent as a professional staffer for New Mexico Senator Joseph M. Montoya and for the Environment and Public Works Senate Committee.
A graveside funeral and committal service will be held Sunday January 6, 2013 at 1 PM at Austin Cemetery in Kitty Hawk. Brad Bradshaw will officiate. A viewing will be held Saturday January 5, 2013 from 4 to 6 PM at the Gallop Funeral Services Chapel MP 16 in Nags Head.
