Laura Lee O’Dell

Kill Devil Hills- Laura Lee O’Dell died Sunday morning, August 30, 2015 at her sisters home in KDH, NC  after a long battle with uterine sarcoma.  She was 54.  Laura was born in 1961 in Spokane,  Washington to the late Earl and Nancy O’Dell.  She grew up in Falls Church, VA.  Laura worked as a loving, caring C.N.A.  in VA and NC for over 31 years.

Laura was living in the Chesapeake, VA area before her she became too ill to live alone and relocated to her sister Vici’s residence in Kill Devil Hills.

 Left to mourn Laura is are her two sisters,  Annette Shultz (Denis),   and Vici Ingersoll;  her nephew,  Aaron O’Dell (Miranda) ; her nieces, Megan and Mallory Shultz;  her grand- nephews Bastian O’Dell and Rex O’Dell ;  and many other extended family members and friends.

A celebration of  life  be held at the Jennette’s Pier  Saturday September 5, 2015 at 6:30 am.   The family gratefully requests that in lieu of flowers,  donations toward funeral expenses be made directly to  Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. in Nags Head.
