Jane Elizabeth Pennington

March 16, 2025

It is with deepest sorrow that we announced the passing of our Mother Jane Elizabeth Pennington, who left this world on March 16, 2025 at the age of 59.

She is survived by her two beautiful daughters, April Williamson of Moyock, NC and Amber Pennington of Denver, CO that were the light of her life, and her cherished dogs, Maggie and Milo, whom she loved with all of her heart.

For the past 30 years she called the Outer Banks her home, where she found peace and joy in the simple pleasures in life. She loved fishing off the Avalon pier and taking long walks on the beach with her beloved dogs, embracing the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean. The salt water, crashing waves, and warm sun were her sanctuary, and she found comfort with every tide that rolled in.

Her spirit was as free as the sea breeze, and her love as deep as the ocean she adored. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will forever live on in the hearts and memory of those who cherished and loved her. Mom, may you forever walk along the shoes of heaven with the sun on your face and the sound of the waves guiding you home.

The family is honoring her preference for cremation and no services are planned at this time. Please share a word of comfort with the family at gallopfuneralservices.com.
