Clarice Varble

Nags Head – Clarice Norma “Claire” Krohn Varble died peacefully on April 2, 2014 Nags Head, NC.

Born in Dayton, Ohio on March 29, 1927, her love of the ocean led Claire and her husband Gene to retire to the Outer Banks in 1987.  She was a devoted wife to Gene for  64 years, mother to her children Tom Varble and Suzie Varble Trainor, and was dearly loved by her family and friends.  Claire loved to walk on the beach, quilt, swim, travel the country in their RV and dance to the music of Frank Sinatra.  Her generous spirit and “it will all work out in the end” attitude shall always be a part of the lives she touched.
