Born on November 12, 1966, Barton Patrick Murray graced this earthly realm with an essence that transcended time and left an indelible mark upon our souls. His journey, though all too brief, was filled with a tapestry of moments that shimmered with joy, tenderness, and profound meaning.
A beacon of strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion, Bart breathed life into every endeavor he undertook. With a heart that knew no boundaries, he embraced the beauty of human connection and showered those fortunate enough to know him with his radiant affection. His smile, a kaleidoscope of warmth and joy, could brighten even the darkest of days, reminding us that love’s light endures, even in the face of adversity.

He joins his parents Mike and Pat Murray who preceded him in death and leaves behind a legacy woven from the threads of love and remembrance. Bart will be profoundly missed by his beloved wife, Jana; daughter, Chloe; sons, Quade and Marlon; brother, Bryan and his wife Joanie; his maternal uncle, Mick Bowman and aunt Margy Bowman; as well as his paternal uncle Ian Murray and many cousins who all find solace in knowing that his love forever resides within their hearts.
May we carry his cherished memories like a beacon in our own lives, illuminating the path ahead with kindness, compassion, and the unwavering love that he instilled in us. As we bid farewell to a beloved soul, let us honor his memory by living each day with the same boundless love and zest for life that he so effortlessly embodied.

Such sad news. It's hard to see your old school mates pass away, especially so young. Prayers of comfort for your family and your brother Bryan; we will see you on the other side Bart.
I’m so saddened with this news. Bart was one of the good guys. He was always available for a chat about business or how life works; and he always maintained a sense of optimism even when struggling. He always knew that things would work out. Such a loss. I’m really going to miss my friend.

Manteo High School class of 1985 are all saddened at the loss of Bart. Our prayers go out to his family and loved ones and we will certainly Miss all the positive posts that he shared on Facebook.
So sorry for your loss , I have known Bart since high school he was in my brothers class and they were really good friends. We use to ride to school together and hangout all the time . I the past few years Bart and myself talked on a regular basis and we see each other now and then. Bart will really be missed he was a good person. Rest In Peace my friend.
I actually can’t remember when I first met Bart, but we went way back to the days of Kitty Hawk Elementary. Bart was always kind and always had a big smile. I thoroughly enjoyed his sense of humor and his willingness to accept people for who they were. I’m so sorry for your loss and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

It was a shock to hear of my cousin Bart's death, so soon after losing my mother, his Aunt Colleen. My time with Bart was too brief, but includes happy memories of childhood visits in Wheeling and the Outer Banks. May Jana, his children, and brother Bryan find peace and strength in the days ahead.
Bart and I were roommates at ECU, we worked together a few summers at A Restaurant by George and we ran together with much of the same crowd. While I am shocked to hear of his sudden passing, when I think back to all of the good times we shared, I simply can't hold back the laughter. Rest In Hilarity BartBo! I cherish the time we spent together.
Sending lots of love and healing light to Jana and the kids. Bart will always be with us. I have a vision of him on a sunlit beach surrounded by love and happy dogs.
My heart and healing prayers go out to all who were touched by Barts love. I got to work with Bart at A Resturant By George years ago. I kept in touch through Instagram. I truly will miss my old friend. God Bless you Bart. And God Bless Your family.
