Susan Blackford MacDonald

Kill Devil Hills- Susan “Suzi” Blackford  MacDonald 54, died in Nags Head September 23, 2008.  She was the daughter of the late Ernest Otto Blackford and Leora Brock Blackford and was born in Genesee County Michigan May 6, 1954. Susan was a resident of the outer banks since the late seventies.

Left to cherish Susan’s memory are her two daughters Brooke MacDonald Gallop and husband Aaron of Columbia, North Carolina and Mallory MacDonald and fiancée Barry Daniels of Manteo; one sister, Corrine Boyd of Maryland; one brother, Kevin Blackford of Sicily, Italy; her companion Leonard Sutphin of Kill Devil Hills, and her dog Corkey.
