Melea Jane Ray
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Melea Jane Ray on April 10, 2025. She is preceded in death by her mother, Joan Seagraves; her father, Clyde Bowling; and sister, Valerie McClintock.
She is survived by her partner, Dwain Mason; as well as Gabriel (Dawn) McClintock, Tracey McClintock, and Bryan McClintock. Melea is also survived by her brother-in-law, Glenn McClintock; and niece, Autumn McClintock.
Melea enjoyed fishing, biking, riding her motorcycle, the beach, and artfully decorating her home, a skill learned from her many years working at the local Home Depot. Melea simply loved adventure and good times.
A memorial gathering will be held at Powell’s Point Baptist Church in Powell’s Point, NC at 2pm on May 17, 2025. Please share expressions of sympathy with the family at gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
