Mary Adams

Chesapeake – Mary Adams of Avon, NC, passed away the evening of August 2, 2016. Mary was born in Buxton, NC, in 1937, to Henry and Eileen Belch (Barnett). Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 30 years, Steve Adams, LCDR, USN, Retired. Mary is survived by her six children and her sister who resides in Avon.

Mary was a devoted wife and mother, raising her children on the move with her Navy husband. She could be very determined and was endlessly energetic, positive and caring. Her love for others truly knew no bounds. Most of all, she was a woman of faith, trusting in our Lord.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016, at 3:00 pm, at Cape Hatteras Baptist Church, 50185 Buccaneer Drive, Frisco, NC.
