Jeffrey M. Wilt

Kill Devil Hills, NC – Jeffrey M. Wilt, 56, peacefully passed away at his home on October 7, 2013 after a courageously fought 8 year battle with cancer.

Born in Sunbury, PA, he graduated from Milton High School and the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Pharmacy. What he most enjoyed about his career as a pharmacist was sharing his knowledge with co-workers and his patients. He turned a dream into reality when he and his wife relocated to an annual family vacation destination, the Outer Banks, NC seven years ago.

He particularly took pleasure in fly fishing, collecting sports memorabilia, raising his Labrador Retrievers and spending time with his grandchildren. One of his favorite moments was seeing his baseball hero Tony Gwynn inducted into the Hall of Fame.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Carl Wilt and Molly Lou Sebasovich.  He is survived by his wife of nearly 21 years, Wendy; his brothers Gregory Wilt and his wife Tammy, Matthew Wilt and his wife Michelle, and Christopher Wilt and his wife Kelly; step daughters Jennifer Finn and husband Robert parents of Araceli, and Jessica Krum mother of Jaxton and Xander.
