Hiram Carr Gallop

Harbinger – Hiram Carr Gallop, 64, passed away peacefully at home Thursday Sept. 29, 2011. Hiram was born in New Bern, NC on July 12, 1947. He served in the US Coast Guard and was a lifelong musician. He was preceded in death by his mother Christiana Harris Gallop.

Hiram leaves behind his wife of 25 years Sonia Gallop his father Julian C, Gallop & wife Joann. His sisters Kathy Gallop & Iris Clark. Sons Shannon Beamon (Laylah) and Thomas Dunlap (Meryle). Daughters Kim Dunlap-Partin (Jerry) and Karen Dunlap. Niece Kim Parks (Brian) and 6 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 3pm Sun. Oct.9 at Powells Point Christian Church in Harbinger.
