Kitty Hawk- Elaine D. Shockey died Sunday August 24, 2014 in Elizabeth City after an extended illness. Elaine was 64. Born in Newport News, Virginia Elaine was the daughter of the late Jospeh and Eloise Lada. Among others, she is survived by her partner of many years Steven D. Gordy of the Kitty Hawk residence. There are no plans for a memorial service at this time.
