Donna Sue Malloy

Donna Sue Malloy died of natural causes in Barco, NC April 8, 2024 at the age of 75. Born April 7, 1949; Donna Sue Kavali was the daughter of parents Tony and Jean Kavali (both deceased). Donna married Patrick Malloy December 30,1967.
She worked at NSA and the NSGA at Ft. Meade Maryland before she retired and moved to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. After moving here, Donna volunteered for many years at a long-term care facility near her home. She called bingo and visited with those who had no visitors. She also volunteered at the local library helping to return books to their proper place due to her love of reading.
Donna is survived by her husband Patrick; two daughters, Tamra and Candice; five grandchildren, Josh, Darren, Travis, Ciara and Miya; one great-grandson, Patrick and her beloved dogs Tiger, Rudy, and Jasper. Donna is also survived by her sister, Toni Jean and her nephews, Michael and David.
Donna was a loving wife and mother – just a beautiful soul who made friends everywhere she went. She touched the lives of so many people without even knowing how truly special the things she did or said were. Donna had a smile that could light the room and will be missed more than words can say.
Donna’s funeral and burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at 11 am, August 8, 2024. Please share an expression of sympathy with the family at www.gallopfuneralservices.com.
Condolences
I am so sorry to hear of Donna’s passing. I enjoyed volunteering with her at bingo at Peak. We also had lunch together occasionally with another volunteer. I will miss seeing her.
I'll always hear Donnas laugh! Pat, Tammy, Candy & family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all ❤️🙏
Donna was the the kindest and most beautiful woman I ever knew. I will always love her ❤️
You were loved by so many and the world was a better place because of you 💕
Donna was never a sister in law. But always a sister 🤗🥰🙏
Cousin Pat, I remember Donna from days spent with family on the Outerbanks. I am sorry for your loss.
I’ll cherish memories with Aunt Donna and our family forever. I miss you so much already! Tell my older brother Bernard Francis, My Grandma Malloy and Grandpa Malloy, my Grandma Nena and PaPaw Rowell, my cousin Patrick, my Uncle Ralph, my great aunt Evelyn, that “I Iove you all so much”. If we could have extended vacations with our love ones who’ve passed away, it would be amazing ♥️.
This beautiful picture of Donna was taken in Santorini 🇬🇷 Greece. We had such a wonderful day😁🤗
Loved my Grammy and she was the sweetest soul I ever met. Some of my fondest memories of my childhood were with her and my Poppy. Traveling to VA beach or the Outer Banks and wherever else to be with family, or to the cabin in Accident when it was just us together. Even staying the night at their place when they still lived in Maryland. Watching movies, playing rummy (she was the best at rummy). I’ll always love you Grammy and Patrick loved you too. I’ll make sure he always remembers you. You always sang me happy birthday on my birthday and I did the same for you, I think I’ll miss that the most.
