Deborah Deane
Southern Shores – Deborah Deane, 56, died at her home in Southern Shores, NC on February 27, 2014 after a hard and long fought battle with cancer. They moved to the Outer Banks in 1988. For the past 25 years, Debbie was a successful and productive realtor for Riggs Realty in Corolla, NC.
Debbie was a devoted and loving wife to her surviving husband of 37 years, Bruce Deane. She is also survived by a daughter, Tara Deane, and grandson, Ryder Austin of Kitty Hawk. She is the daughter of Yolanda Weidenbush of South Toms River, NJ and the late Douglas Weidenbush. Her extended family include four sisters and two brothers, Rochette Sadowski and her husband Ernie of Toms River, NJ, Dr. Diane Lesser of Princess Anne, MD, Lt. Col. Lisa Weidenbush of Bowie, MD and Carole Magdor and her husband Todd of Oviedo, FL, and her two brothers, Dennis Weidenbush of Island Heights, NJ and Michael Weidenbush and his wife Cindy of Bayville, NJ. Our hearts are truly broken. Debbie had a great deal of love for her entire family, but loved nothing more than spending time with her grandson, Ryder. Debbie will be greatly missed by her entire family and her numerous friends, especially Misty and Larry Riggs. She was a beautiful and vibrant woman who enjoyed boating and fishing with her family, and shopping.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Pier House, Hilton Gardens in Kitty Hawk starting at 1:00 p.m. The Pastor John Hobbs will officiate. Arrangements are in the care of Gallop Services in Nags Head, NC.
