Cindy Peckinpaugh Via of Kill Devil Hills, NC, 63, passed away June 7, 2022 at the ECU Medical Center after her long battle with cancer.  She is survived by her husband, Robert Via; son, Todd Burton (Jennifer Birchett); and grandchildren, Justin, Hannah and Robert.  She was also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Cindy was always known for her infectious smile.  She expressed gratitude towards everyone she ever met and her love for children could be seen by that smile on her face.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father Frank Peckinpaugh; her mother, Elizabeth Ann Peckinpaugh; brothers, Kenneth and Michael Peckinpaugh; and sister Gail Goodrich.

Services and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The family would like to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers. Gallop Funeral services is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.gallopfuneralservices.com.
