Charles “Charlie” Alexander Miller
Harbinger – Charles “Charlie” Alexander Miller, resident of Harbinger, North Carolina, died suddenly from complications of cancer on September 7, 2014.
Chuck was born on November 27th, 1937 and lived most of his life in Butler, Pennsylvania. He moved to Harbinger over 10 years ago, to live his dream of living near the water and fishing at his leisure.
He is survived by his three children; a son, Carl R. Miller of Lexington, Maryland; and two daughters; Julie (Jeffery) Hansberry of Seattle, Washington and Dorothea “Dottie” (Paul) Knight of Mechanicsville, Maryland; and two grandsons, Ryan and Nathan Hansberry.
He is also survived by a large family of sisters, brothers, cousins and dear friends. We will all remember him with fondness for his fun “loving life” attitude, and he will be greatly missed.
Friends may gather at Avalon Fishing Pier Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Charlie’s name may be made to Interfaith Community Outreach in Nags Head.
Condolences to the family may be expressed via the on-line register, by clicking the “registry” link at www.gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
