Nags Head- Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. has entered its first submittal to the annual Breast Cancer Month bra decorating contest sponsored by Dare County Older Adult Services at the Baum Center. The bra entry is among numerous pieces donated by local individiuals and businesses to highlight and support breast cancer awareness. The contest will be judged October 30, 2013 at the Baum Center.
The entry is themed “Let’s BURY Breast Cancer” and is a mixed media sculpture featuring ribbon, beading, metal and paper materials. The artist is Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. owner and president Courtney N. Gallop. “As a woman owned business we are excited to get step up and impact a project that focuses on Breast Health,” said Gallop of the contest.
